That part of criminal history record information consisting of a notation of an arrest, described in subsection (2) of section 29-3523, shall not be disseminated to persons other than criminal justice agencies after the expiration of the periods described in subsection (2) of section 29-3523 (restrictions listed above) except when the subject of the record:
Should you require the information that may be excluded by §29-3523, and the person of interest does not fall under 1. or 2. you must submit a release form to the Criminal Identification Department. Once you’ve submitted your request, your receipt page will have links to the PDF notarized release forms you will need to send to the Nebraska State Patrol. You may submit these electronically by using the upload function provided in the online request application, or you can fax or mail the form(s).

The public may request a Record of Arrest and Prosecution (RAP) for individuals. The RAP sheet includes finger print based arrests and resulting dispositions. Even though Nebraska is an open record state, some activity may be excluded from public view per §29-3523.
There is an $15.50 non-refundable fee for each person of interest requested, regardless of the outcome. The service is provided by a third party working in partnership with the State of Nebraska.

If you receive a "No Record" response you will be able to download and/or print the dissemination report immediately. If you receive a "Request is being researched" response, the information entered is not unique and must be reviewed by a Criminal Records Technician.
