Online License Renewal System

If you are ready to begin the renewal process, please enter your license number in the License Number field. If you do not know your license number you may search for it using the Electrician License Search. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number as your password. You may only renew one license at a time. To renew multiple licenses, you must complete the renewal application for each license.

Important Renewal Information

The online renewal period closes March 31, 2025 at 11:59pm.
There will be a late fee of 10% of your renewal fee assessed for each month beginning January 1, 2025 and ending March 31, 2025.

A for Apprentice

JA for Journeyman

EC for Electrical Contractor

RW for Residential Wireman

FA for Fire Alarm

Last 4 digits of SSN

Please review the following information before you begin:

  1. The online renewal system will not automatically renew your license(s). Your renewal information will be reviewed by State Electrical Division staff before being processed. Please allow several days for notification of the status of your renewal.
  2. The online renewal system requires a valid Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card. Other credit cards will not be accepted.
  3. The online renewal system requires an email address. When your renewal is accepted or rejected you will be notified at the email address you supply.
